Floral Inspiration Custom Designs For Your Next Event

2021 Is In Full Bloom!
Flowers have the ability to create unforgettable memories that elevate your special event to level. I recently attended the Floral Encounter Conference in South Carolina. We’ve been seeing some exciting floral arrangements that are sure to inspire any hostess or bride.

Love Is In The Air with this floral heart in an ombre display from white to red. The flowers were donated to Petals with Purpose, a nonprofit organization that brings joy to the lives of children, the elderly and those living with disabilities through re-purposed flowers that go hand-in hand with visits. The flowers are recycled from weddings, celebrations and corporate events and delivered to youth organizations, shelters, hospitals, nursing homes and hospice care facilities.⁣

We also donated to Let It Rot – an organics waste recycling company. They focus on diverting plant-based food and paper waste from landfills and feeding it to the worms!⁣

Auto In Bloom is a bride’s getaway dream. I’m gearing up for all my 2021 brides!

Blooming Baby Backdrop in shades of pink provides the perfect background for a shower to welcome a baby girl. This was a sustainable event -no plastic water bottles! We had water stations infused with local fruit and herbs for our guests to enjoy.⁣⁣

2021 Floral Wedding Trends
A wedding trend we’re seeing this year is enhanced floral arrangements. Flowers are always my favorite part of any celebration! Couple’s wedding budgets have changed, and today they may have more funds to allocate to the wedding floral budget. 2021 is going to be beautiful!

Eco-Friendly Floral Tips
Select a sustainable florist who composts flower trimmings, re-uses vases and recycles leftover arrangements and trim. Sadly cut flowers don’t last long – but they will last far beyond your event and can give pleasure to others. One of our favorite event sustainability practices is that Anna Hess Events always donates leftover flowers to local organizations (such as Petals with purpose, Random Acts of Flowers, Rebloom and Repeat Roses) that will pick up your post-event arrangements and donate them to local hospitals, police stations or senior centers.

See our article April Showers Bring May Flowers for tips on floral arrangements to cope with the heat.
